Projects
Avito can also tackle more unusual requests from recording scientific experiments to assisting in the production of educational outreach projects.
Experiments and Demonstrations
We have completed productions working with research staff including PhD and Postdoc students presenting their research work to others, these include Solar Fuel projects, which were filmed in research laboratories in Physics Departments, the Cavendish Centre, Chemical Engineering and Chemistry Department at the University of Cambridge.
Recording laboratory work for incorporation into presentations is an effective way of demonstrating methodology and making presentations more exciting.
Educational Publishing
Contagious Maths is a five-part video series produced by the Millennium Mathematics Project at Cambridge University. Text content combined with short videos embedded in the page aim to bring an understanding of the mathematics behind infectious diseases to a broad audience.
We shot various interviews, presentations, and demonstrations by the team. Edited the short videos, applied post-production titles and graphics, and packaged them in a format suitable for uploading to YouTube.
You can see the output of the team in collaboration with Avito at the Contagious Maths website.
Exhibition Stand Interviews
We are mobile too! Exhibition stand interviews and onsite interviews at include poster sessions help to capture the atmosphere of an event for posterity and for people who are unable to make it in person.
Budget
Rates start from about £300 for single camera shoots at one location, and extend to £500 for two-camera shoots for a more dynamic result. Post-production costs fluctuate depending on the level of work required, ranging from £100 for straightforward shoots to £200 to £400 for complex productions involving multiple cameras and locations.
